Your prices stay on your device.

Information stored by the app

PriceTrail stores the information you enter, including item names, prices, currency codes, shops or sellers, categories, purchase dates, and optional notes. This information is stored in a SQLite database inside the app's private storage on your device.

PriceTrail has no account system and does not send this information to the developer or to a remote server.

Backup export and import

When you choose Export backup, PriceTrail creates a versioned JSON file and opens your device's sharing interface. You decide which application or storage destination receives the file.

When you choose Import backup, you select a JSON file using your device's document interface. PriceTrail reads and validates that file locally, then merges new records into the on-device database. PriceTrail does not upload imported files.

Any provider you choose for saving or sharing a backup operates under its own privacy policy.

Data collection and sharing

PriceTrail does not collect or share personal information, app activity, device identifiers, location, contacts, financial account information, or the price records stored in the app.

The app contains no advertising SDK, analytics SDK, behavioral tracking, account system, or cloud synchronization.

Permissions

PriceTrail does not request runtime permissions. The system document and sharing interfaces provide user-directed access only when you choose to import or export a backup.

Data retention and deletion

Price records remain on your device until you delete them or uninstall PriceTrail. Your operating system or a backup provider you have enabled may retain application data according to its own settings.

You can delete individual records inside PriceTrail. Because there is no PriceTrail account or server-side profile, there is no remote account data to delete.

Children

PriceTrail is a general-audience utility and is not designed to collect information from children. The app does not collect information from any user.

Changes to this policy

If a future version changes how information is handled, this policy and the Google Play Data safety declaration will be updated before that version is distributed.
